Hi Sally, you can read all about E3 Visas on the Global Visas website. Your years of experience will most likely be enough to make you eligible. But click on the "free assessment" button on the Global Visas website to find out for certain.

Hi
Can you assist me regarding E3 visas for Australians. I am a fully qualified midwife and registered nurse with 17 years experience (12 in maternity/midwifery) holding a batchelor of nursing degree (same as BSN) and diploma of midwifery. Would I be eligible to apply for labor and delivery RN (obs nurse) positions at certain hospitals in the U.S which require a minimum of a bsn (batchelors) degree in this field? Although a BSN isn't always required for these positions many :magnet status hospitals and other require this as a minimum standard for education for the position of L&D RN.
thanks

A UK visa refusal can often be appealed, although it really depends on your individual circumstances as to whether you will be successful. Visit our Immigration Appeal page for more information. All you need to prove funds is a recent bank statement which has been mailed to you. This will be an official document with your name, address and account balance displayed. You can also go to the bank and ask them what kind of official documents they can print for you on the spot. Our experts help people lodge successful UK immigration appeals every day, so to speak to a Global Visas consultant visit our UK Immigration page and click on the "free assessment" link.

I applied for psw tier 1 visa alongside my husband and was rejected for the reason stated below:
"The office has attempted and has been unable to verify the document stated above that you have supplied using standard procedures. In light of this I am unable to take this document into consideration."
Do you advice to go for Adminstrative review or to reapply.
What documents should I get from the bank to prove that I have enough maintainance funds.
Thank you

Hi Mario, thanks for your replies. I will persue a couple of options, I think. One, maybe my employer can sponser me, or two, see if I'm eligible for permanent residency, (that would be my preference). Thanks. Regards, Nigel.

Hi Nigel. If your new employer is eligible to sponsor you then you can again apply for a 457 visa for the duration of your employment. Read more about being eligible on our Australia 457 Visa page. Or to ask for advice from one of our lawyers just visit the Visa Australia page and click on the free assessment button.

Hi, that depends on the type of visa you currently have. But if you have studied to degree level and have skills that are required in Australia there is no reason why you shouldn't be eligible for some type of work visa. But if you need a visa extension urgently in order to finish your course this can also be arranged. To discuss your application with one of our immigration experts just visit our Australia Visa page and click on the FREE ASSESSMENT button.

My situation is, I am 49 years old, I've been living and working in Queensland now for 18 months. I have a 457 visa which will expire in October 2011. I am a welder. Although I'm still doing this work, I'm no longer with the Company that sponsored me to obtain my visa. My question is, how easy or difficult would it be for me to obtain another visa, or preferably, permanent residency? I would like to stay in Australia, for a while longer, if it's possible....
