British media, where’s the integrity gone?

As the nation wakes up to a bright and cheery Monday morning, the British public is confronted by another set of ‘revelations’ over the Liberal Democrats’ inept UK immigration policies. I reported on this last week (as did most of the ‘off-right’ British press), this was the sheer ferocity that certain tabloid/broadsheet fodder were attacking the Liberal Democrat party and their UK immigration policies over and beyond what would be deemed impartial reporting.

It appears today that the Mail and Telegraph are continuing their assault on the party for what they claim to be ‘wholly inadequate’ idea’s on how the country should be run. While the Tory-siding Times have also today joined in the fun on what I am coining ‘Liberal boshing’. They run with the story that MigrationWatch have uncovered the fact that there may well be 1.1million illegal immigrants living in the UK – what I’d like to know is how they found this out? Realistically whoever compiles these reports of how many ‘illegal’s’ are living in whichever country should be working for the governments involved so that they can instruct the relevant sources of where they are living. That would surely solve all this rigmarole!

UK Immigration chaos?

This would, under the Liberal Democrat plan for an immigration amnesty, result in 2,2million added citizens to the UK – On the basis that each of the migrants granted legality would then be allowed to bring into the UK at least one family member or relative.

The aim of such stories is clear and the transparency of what is meant to be British journalism has over the past few days, in my estimation, been cheapened.

We all know that these papers support a Tory government, but do we really expect them to go on such a hell-bent witch hunt as we are bearing witness to?

I just hope the British public is smart enough to see through what is testament to media propaganda by the likes of Rupert Murdoch and the ‘Daily Mailicious’ brigade.
