Moving abroad is a dream that huge numbers of people achieve every year. Attaining an open work permit for work overseas is a very important aspect of your relocation, but there is more to looking for work overseas than work permits and translating your CV.
This is why Global Visas recommends Expertise in Labour Mobility (ELM). ELM offer advice on successful expatriation. Nannette Ripmeester and the ELM team have written guides (see photo) on job hunting practices in 40 countries. With each guide sold a donation of the money is given to Save The Children.
The guides are written by local experts to make your job hunt in a foreign country less stressful and more successful. There are cultural differences in recruiting practices that can turn into hurdles to finding the right job abroad. ELM aims to prepare you for these differences.
