i came in uk in 1998, my tow children born here, 11/8 years old.
in 2001 my asylum was refused and i turn voluntary because i was afraid of detenation.
in 2003 i came illegaly in uk with my children and i live with out benefit i worked hard in 2007 my son went to hir father in italy and this year he came to live with us can you please advice me i am all alowne with my children and i dont now what to do they tis year had to go to school. pease tell me one goo advice

i am from south africa.my student visa expired november 2005,so i have overstayed since then.i live with my boyfriend of 10 years who has indefinet leave to remain in the uk.we want to get married,but are scared that if we went back to sa to do it i would be denied a visa to come back with him.we both do want to go back to sa in a years time to live there ,but want to save up a little money to keep us going when we get there.is it possible so get some kind of legal visa just for 1 year duration,we really don’t want to be separated.please advice me on what options do i have if any.thank you.

Hi,
I moved to the Uk on the dependent visa since i got married. I am due to apply for my ILR in december this year. Unfortunatley 2 months back we seperated and my husband has proved unreliable in letting me continue to stay here. Since i moved to UK in 2008 on personal grounds of marriage(arranged) i have been in full time employment and have done well in my career. I wish to pursue my career here and not let my upset in personal life ruin my hard work. Could you advice if under the current situation if i will be eligible for a work permit/HSMP. I do qualify based on the points.

Hello, i was wondering if anyone knows how i can get my mum over to the uk fron the usa permanately?? i am an american but was moved over her when i was 14 x my nan lives here too, my mum’s mum,an also my great nan. my mother has suffered 2 strokes 2 years ago an has detierated drastically over this time, my brother lives in the us too an is 22. but they can no longer cope or help her anymore, an want to put her in a home. ineed to no how to get her wiith me permanately??? pls help???

Hi Im currently in the UK on a 2 year spouse visa as my hubby is British. My passport is of course in my maiden name and the spouse visa is issued to my maiden name as well, however since arriving in the UK I have been using my married name for all documentation (by showing the marriage cert). Now I’m not sure if im just worrying but will this cause issues as when I apply for ILR all my supporting documentation would be in my married name?. I do not want to change my passport as the spouse visa vignette is there and it is unnecessary expense until I need to renew it. Please be kind enough to respond Thanks
