UK IMMIGRATION AMNESTY
It is coming to an Immigration office near you soon. That might be a bold claim but you have heard it here first. There is NO WAY the UK BIA can afford to continue to pretend their current policy of denial is working.
As I write this an Immigration somewhere is leaving the Home Office and they are not being replaced. The budget is going to be slashed. It has to be slashed and even with all the money they have received over the last few years the UK BIA have failed to address the 400,000 people in the UK who want to make the UK their home.
The BNP now have a seat and the simple reason is because the government have failed in their Immigration control. It is time to get serious and get on and start the amnesty.
The UK can not afford to continue to avoid the facts that an Amnesty would be beneficial to the UK Plc. Added taxes, less benefits and more resources could be freed up to focus on protecting the boarders.
If you believe an Amnesty would be beneficial to the UK I want to you to post your reply. Together we can send a message. I am the Director of Global Visas with over 20 years experience in Immigration law and I want to be the first person to say Today is the day the UK BIA MUST declare their amnesty.
In 2007 I said the UK Immigration needed an Amnesty. Since then the BNP have won seats, the UK BIA have made no progress and the system is still failing. The UK Government have to stand up now and accept the facts.
Please join me with your comments – I want to see an Immigration Amnesty in 2010.

Ministers dont realise how beneficial amnesty will be to them if all these Illegal guys have security than they will spend aselll like others and they will be allowed 2 travel and they will pull Airline industry out of recession.. simultaneously if they get legal they can drive and bring more road taxes and more auto sales and this will give a lift 2 auto industry and more house sales more bank deposits more money in circulation ……… and much much more …… and that too at no extra cost to the Govt and Govt will make more money on Amnesty Applications 500 x 70,00,000 = 700,000,000. as it is HM is stopping benefits till u become British CTzen
not a bad deal at all
so think tank think on this
Happy thinking

hi i do support amnesty and its good for both for the citizen and for those who will become citizen after the amnesty, Govt should think smart rather then working hard on immigration and deporting illegal people who are really benefit to this country and their community.so play smart make money from them rather spend money on them by deporting and spending tax payers money.

I FULLY SUPPORTS AN AMNESTY, IT’S ABOUT TIME
November 7th, 2009 at 12:09 am
being an immigrant myself i dnt think, an amnesty will actually solve the problem.i wouldnt prefer the economy card, but its all abt the economy, we cant deny.
the questions to address: how much in housing, employment rates, long term effects on economy long term effects on british culture.
here is a clever survey, i think you’d likely to pull more people, if not all?
” how many migrants, no matter what they stay is, are willing to pay a -privilege fee- to turn british /or begranted a privilege visa on condition they renounce their nationality.” put it £10000.00
what if this was targeted to certain group, say students, work permit holders, etc,….people who are educated, good with language, have some skill, are potential contributors to tax( most of them are young, and willing to do any job)
im sue, you will see 1000’s or even much more, going into this scheme, think abt the problems it could solve.
say the govt, nationalise 50000 international students a year
thats £50000000 a year. britain could actually face the recession with such influx of cash, this could also provide for the housing shortage, and i dnt understand, nobody seems to notice that their is no disadvantage to this. at present, the group mentioned above, are giving that money to uni’s, so why not channel such money into the economy. besides, when you think about it, international students and work permit holders are among the hardest workers of the population, from a personal point of view. look it , they only allowed work for 20 hrs, so what they do, have one job 20 hrs min wage, another cash in hand to raise £80000.00 to pay for uni fees and go to uni and study, yet they not allowed benefits , nothing is free, they pay almost everything. so if they are doing it, it utterly nonsense to hear that their is no jobs for others, they work on peanuts and all that crap.
here another survey” how many foreign students work in uk, to pay for their fees” and ” how much in fees have they already paid by working here” the figures are likely to be big, and these payments of course at present dont go to the system. about the amnesty for illegal immigrants, how do you think they are surviving, the govt knows it all,its the public opinion that’s more important nowadays. i would love to see someone like you , setting out a policy of how the current immigration crisis could help this country, i mean a ” buget”, welly the labour party is too fragile right now to go into such endeavour, the tories and of course the bnp would shred them down.
finnally , im willing to see another survey ” how many british people are happy that an immigrant pay taxes or contributes for them to have a better life”
November 7th, 2009 at 12:57 am
another thing about foreign students or even illegal immigrants. now how much money does the uk actually makes out of students. not much i supoz, but maybe not just enough. Think about it, a neighbour country and any eu country might just use the policy to take over the whole market of foreign students in the uk. The government probably may not or may be they do realise such possibility.im sure someday, someone will come up with a bright idea of offering shorter settlement opportunities for this type of migrants. it quite simple, say for eg the rep of ireland was to set out a policy of a relative lower uni fees for a student, then gradually as the student progress to 2nd or 3rd year to make the student a local student, then once he qualify and finds a job, to settle. i bet you’d see london getting emptied pretty fast. of course, maybe eu competition law will come in the way, well the boys would know how to handle it…” just better shopping for consumers”. the international students in uk are only here, because elsewhere the policies and price are almost similar, rest to see who will do it first. the idea of a first class uni education , well go ask that to a student, you’ll be amazed.

It is time for amnesty.
making them official will be a revenue bonus for the country as they can then be taxed
amnesty could be worth up to £3 billion a year to the country’s economy.
thy are hard workers and they are good citizens building a better kingdom.

I am a trained Sculptor with speacialisation in metal fabrication.I have been living in UK undocumented with my partner and children whom were born in UK.We have no criminal record and we are into voluntary work, therefore we are not a liability to the UK society. We love this country having to live here for the past 9years(illegal),living as seif sufficient person,we can contribute to the society which we now belong.Granting Amnesty to people like us will be beneficial both to us and society in general because we will be able to work legally to pay taxes,National insurance contribution and we can travel thereby taking most of the aviation companies out of liquidation. And many more advantages. I personnally beg the UK government to grant Amnesty.Plesssssssssssssses

hi i strongly support for amnesty and continuously writing on this subject since Mr. Tony Blair was Prime-minister of UK. So many countries have already granted an amnesty to the illegal immigrants and some other countries including USA are on the path to prvide a “pathway to citizenship ” for millions of illegal immigrants. Migration is an old phenomenon, even birds migrate for better living. Even to this,160 years ago the British migrated to India in the form of East India Company and ruled over there for almost 100 years. At present the UK is the only country in the world which turns a blind eye to grant an amnesty to the illegal immigrants. Illegals are those who commits crimes, they must be thrown out of the country but those who have to live in the shadows in the UK and have not seen their near and dear one’s since years, rather living a double life to oneself, must be granted an amnesty without further delay. So it is requested that the procedure may be fine-tuned by the ‘Home Office’ to give right to stay to those illegal immigrants who have qualified their five years stay in the UK with neat and clean record, means without any serious criminal offence. Not granting an amnesty is indeed a ‘MODERN SLAVERY IN THE MODERN WORLD.’
November 25th, 2009 at 10:00 am
An Amnesty most definitely is needed, many lives would turn around completely, ofcourse not without the added benefit that this will bring to the UK economically.
November 29th, 2009 at 7:12 pm
Hi, I am strongly supporting the amnesty, it should be given to all illegal immigrants & failed asylum seekers.
December 7th, 2009 at 10:17 am
I support the need of an Amnesty as i and most people believe will be very helpful to the economy i believe that the ministers themselves know this very well but are not brave enough to enforce an amnesty in case of losing voters.
The UK is calling in tens of thousands of students in order to boost their economy which is a temporary boost and the ministers know this that most of them students will stay back after their studies are finished becoming undocumented, providing an amnesty to settled illegal immigrants with no criminal record here will boost the economy for years to come.
I believe in an immigrant fund programme where immigrants can contribute to the society and an integration programme to bind the masses up abolishing the negativity of immigration.
These are a few points to mention my support of an amnesty.
December 7th, 2009 at 10:17 pm
i support an amnesty. sweeping the issue under the carpet is unacceptable
December 18th, 2009 at 10:02 am
i support, amnesty, because it would mean that many people who where being exploited would have the freedom to come out of the shadows. after all the Europeans are the ones that have done this to these people, they stole their gold, diamonds and exploit their cocoa beans, even their oils from these now third world countries, that they take advantage of everyday. after-all if it wasn’t for the Europeans invading their land (Africa and such) these people would have better prospects, more schools(better education schemes), more jobs, because they would of been aware of the value of their resources that they now don’t have. leaving them poor and vulnerable. therefore i think amnesty is the least that they can do.obviously their needs to be a restriction period for example no public funds for the minimal of 5years and so now.
December 22nd, 2009 at 5:12 pm
I totally agree as an amnesty would be of great financial benefit to the country. They should really consider it as a new start for Britain.
December 22nd, 2009 at 11:01 pm
About time- long overdue
December 28th, 2009 at 12:43 pm
We contributed to the economy in the dark, and we are strongly welling to doit in the light, WE supoport the AMNSESTY
December 29th, 2009 at 3:33 am
I support the amnesty at 10000000% and its really needed.
Most of the European countries did it, and it was so successful.
December 30th, 2009 at 12:48 pm
The immigration Amnesty is long overdue every politician realises this, but the ruling Government is so afraid of daily tabloids tarnishing their image.
Regardless of the outcome of this proposed Amnesty, the Government should wake up and sort this problem once and for all enabling all those living in twilight world to come forward and contribute socially, and economically like everyone!

yes amnesty is absolutely needed at these times, i am not an illegal immigrant but i certainly do feel for those who are sincerely working in the UK and not abusing the system. Here is the supposed deal give amnesty to those who are 4 years and beyond without criminal record, contributing to the community. AMNESTY AMNESTY AMNESTY!!!!
January 2nd, 2010 at 10:46 pm
i thing is good to give them indefinet leave to remain because 95 percent of them working illegal anyway;this is just an example.
January 10th, 2010 at 2:15 am
To be honest, the UK immigration has failed. There are so many illegal immigrants at different sectors of the economy. The estimate the home office has, are just a sample of of the real figure. Many of them are schooling at different levels, working at different sectors and even claiming benefits in different names. The truth is that delaying this amnesty only increases crime and also makes the economy go weaker. Although some illegal immigrants might be dumb, some are actually very intelligent and can contribute positively to the society. The government is just wasting money and time on strengthening the borders and seeking illegal immigrants to be deported. That money could be used to finance the amnesty costs. Long stayed illegal immigrants have developed themselves so much in this country and know how to get around problems even if it means doing it illegally. The sympathetic issue is that some illegal immigrants in this country are here because there immediate families are here too. Deporting them only means separating them from their families. Fair enough, they should not have developed families here or over stayed their visits applied for in the beginning, but the fact still remains that the UK has failed to control the borders effectively. Trying to strengthen their borders now seems already to late because there are loads of illegal immigrants in the country already. The other day in the papers, it as found that some illegal workers were found working at the home office itself. This just shows how saturated illegal working has become that they’ve got the guts to to work right under their nose. To be sincere, the UK can get itself out of this recession more effectively if an amnesty can be considered because most of these immigrants have got skills hoarding up in them that cannot be utilized due to their illegal position. Some of them have already been through the whole educational system up to a masters degree. The government has already financed their academics without even knowing. Its free education up to Alevels, and some have even managed to claim student loans to complete their university education.
To be sincere, the whole system is in mess, correcting it now by searching for Illegal immigrants to be deported is like counting rice from a bag. Some of them have got people supporting them and hence the difficulty in them being found.
Incase your wondering how come i know so much about illegal immigrants is because i am on too. I have been here for 9 years now and i am graduting in summer. I been through college, university and now my masters. If not for the support of loved ones, i dont know how i would have been surviving.
The most annoying thing is that i’m meant to have been granted a leave to remain visa due to my father and siblings living here, but it was refused. My right to appeal was denied as well because they said my visa was still valid at that time and i could still return to my country of origin. But to show how dumb and annoying those Home office people are, how could i have returned home when the rest of my family are all here. I was only 15 years old too.
