Vinny Jones could lose his work visa for America when he stands trial on assault charges in South Dakota later this month for his part in a violent, out-of-hand bar room brawl involving a head-butt, a broken beer glass and two bloody faces, one of them Vinny’s.

Known for his love of discharging large weapons on the silver screen, and at Bambi and Thumper out in the woods, Jones, whose credits include Snatch, Swordfish, X-Men and 12 professional football red-cards was in the Mount Rushmore State hunting game such as deer, geese, turkey and as it turns out, red-necks.

On the night of the fracas, Jones, who recently took time out from his hard man image and did voice-over work in Garfield: A Tale of Two Kitties, was at Wiley’s Tavern in Sioux Falls, enjoying vocal entertainment provided by Nick Rallis (unsigned, 38 friends on Facebook) and his folk rock ensemble.

The Extractor, The Killer, The Hunter, The Barman – The Bickett Mom

Juan Barrera, 24, and buddies were shooting some pool when Jones walks over asking to play.

Jesse Bickett, 24, tells Jones to wait. One of Barrera’s buddies asks Jones if he was “that guy from X-Men.”

Jones gets offended, allegedly pushing people around saying he’s played many other roles, such as ‘The Extractor’ in fantasy movie Tooth, and ‘Killer’ in the Japanese horror movie Survive Style 5+ not-forgetting ‘Smasher O’Driscoll’ in Strength and Honour. In upcoming release, Bog Bodies, Vinny plays ‘The Hunter’, a role that might have influenced the outcome of the quarrel that evening.

Barrera went to the rest room and didn’t see what happened next, but according to Sioux Falls Police Sgt. Tim Hagen, Jones, who relinquished his role as ‘The Barman’ in the Bacardi TV advertisement due to an episode of air rage on a flight from New York to London, got whacked in the face with a beer bottle by Bickett when he ran at him.

When Barrera exited the restroom Jones was being helped outside by bar staff with a smashed nose but allegedly had time to strike Barrera in the mouth.

Bickett was later arrested by police for aggravated assault outside the bar and Jones was picked up at the local hospital and charged with assault.

Ker-ching!!!

Quick to bring up the stink of money was none other than the ‘Bickett mum’, mother of the guy who cut up Vinny.

“He’s got major hospital bills hanging over his head,” she doted, discussing her aggravated assault charged son, “He (Jones) doesn’t want to run into me.” – beware Vinny, if you run into Bicket Jnr and get bottled in the face, God help you if the Bickett Mom gets her claws into you!
