Experience Canada as an international student
As with other western countries, Canada offers studies for students at various levels. The system can be approximately cross-sectioned into university, college, vocational courses of study in Canada and English courses.
School is compulsory for children in Canada between the ages of 6 and 15.
University
The highest level of education in the country is university, with institutions spread over the whole of Canada. Foundation
Bridging courses are designed to enable students the extra qualification points they might need in order to qualify for certain higher education courses. If a student in Canada has not completed the basic level of Canadian senior secondary school then this type of course will be applicable.
The course is an intensive type of teaching, usually aimed at mature students wanting to go on to further studies such as a Bachelor degree or advanced diploma.
