A seminar has been held in India to give in-depth details about fast-track US and Canadian immigration options for rural farmers and businesspeople with investment capacity.

The villagers from rural Haryana and Punjab received the insights into permanent residency opportunities in the US and Canada, which can be gained in exchange for investment in American and Canadian companies. People who wish to start businesses employing locals are also given more opportunities in terms of settling in Canada and the US on a permanent basis.

India-based World Wide Immigration Consultancy Services, which held the event, was keen to inform the attendees that there are many opportunities for entrepreneurs looking to move to Canada. The firm’s managing director, Lt Col B S Sandhu, said that Canada’s market-oriented economic system together with its high-tech industrial outlook makes it an ideal place for Indian business owners to expand into or relocate to.

Farmers and businessmen attending the conference were reportedly extremely interested in the opportunities available to them and presented a volley of questions to the organisers. Many of the opportunities for investment in the US or Canada are in the advanced farming industries.
