Man Utd can now bring Diouf back from Norway so he can do what they paid him to, work in the UK.

Senegalese international Mame Biram Diouf has finally been awarded his UK work permit that will enable him to work in the UK.

The striker was signed to Manchester United in January, but has been out on loan to Norwegian side Molde ever since, awaiting his work permit for the UK.

The 22-year-old has now been granted the UK visa and will be available to Alex Ferguson in time for the team’s FA Cup match against Leeds on 3 January.

Ferguson is said to be expecting big things from the player. He stated earlier this year, “if you're talking about value then you can look at our young boy Diouf.

"He's been training with us and is looking very exciting.”

Meanwhile, USA international and LA Galaxy player Landon Donovan has also been granted a UK work visa, enabling him to finalise his move to Everton.

The attacking player is now cleared for his move to the UK from 2 January on loan terms from LA Galaxy until March.

Several teams have come across obstacles when bringing in foreign players to work in the UK this season, so both Manchester United and Everton will be pleased to have visas for their new signings.
