Brits learn about move to Australia
The UK's largest event providing advice, ideas and inspiration to people interested in starting a new life by making the move to Australia or New Zealand is returning to the UK later this month.
Down Under Live is coming to the
National Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham later in September and will also come
to the Business Design Centre in Islington, London in January 2010.
Government representatives from Australia will be on hand to talk to
people about opportunities for starting work in Australia, in terms of gaining the
right kind of visa. Options for working holidays for the 18-30 age group are
also discussed and experts will be glad to answer questions about the visa
application process and how best to settle in Australia.
Prospective
migrants often have worries about making sure their children will be well
educated after they have moved to Australia and whether they have skills that
are in demand in the country. Down Under Live aims to answer all these concerns
and equip families with the inside knowledge they need to make moving to
Australia simple.
Advice and guidance for younger people hoping to travel
around Australia on working holiday visas will also be provided. These allow
students and graduates to live in Australia for up to a year and work in
temporary seasonal roles.
