Support startup US visa campaign

There is a growing number of business people who want to see an easier route to US visas for immigrant entrepreneurs who are likely to start companies in the US, employing locals and contributing to the economy.

The startup visa movement is gaining momentum in response to an increasing number of international business people finding themselves hitting a brick wall when they try to obtain a visa allowing them to work in the US.

Startupvisa.com is now collecting support from people who back the granting of US visas to founders of firms that are at all based in the US. These startups, after all, will be vital in the recovery of the US after the recession and will help boost dwindling employment.

Now, encouraged by the startup visa movement’s website, important business figures in the US are supporting the campaign through blog postings. Remarkably, the official campaign has only been running over the past week and has already attracted support from 160 congressional representatives in 33 states.

Some 1,200 messages of support have been left on the website so far and onlookers believe that the campaign could make a real difference, showing US immigration authorities that US visas for entrepreneurs are vital for the country’s future.
