MP George Galloway deported from Egypt

George Galloway flies into London and faces stiff questions from UK immigration.
UK immigration has reported that the British MP George Galloway has been forcibly deported from Egypt.
The MP for Bow and Bethnal Green, along with international activists, was attempting to take an aid convoy of 200 trucks across the border and into the heavily blockaded Gaza strip.
Egypt had already denied some of the vehicles entry causing protests and skirmishes on the border between Gaza and Egypt.
There have also been communications that the MP has been declared "persona non grata" by the Egyptian authorities and will not be allowed to enter the country again.
Having already been into Gaza, the Respect MP along with colleague Ron McKay arrived at the border following a big delay in the convoy and arrests of 7 activists near the Gaza strip.
Witnesses at the scene claim that police intervened when Galloway and McKay arrived.
"As soon as the pair set foot on to Egyptian soil, both men were physically forced into a van, refused exit and informed that they were leaving the country. They were then driven off at speed in a police convoy."
UK immigration is not believed to be complicit in the operation; Galloway and his colleague are currently on a flight back to London.
Egypt and Israel have a coalition which imposes a strict blockade on the Gaza Strip, this Israel claims is aimed at weakening the Palestinian group Hamas.
