Move to South Africa for Getaway Show
Considering a permanent move to South Africa or just wanting to visit a country rich in beauty and sightseeing? Then why not attend the country's number one outdoor travel show.
The DStv Getaway Show, South Africa's leading consumer travel and outdoor expo, takes place from 11 to 13 September at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg. It is organised by the publishers of Getaway Magazine, who describe the show as "the magazine in 3D".
The show attracts more than 22, 000 visitors and showcases South Africa's most visitor-friendly destinations, places to stay and adventure travel operators, as well as outdoor travel equipment and accessories.
Get your South Africa visa and a ticket to the show and you'll see over 400 exhibitors will display at this year's event which is now in its 17th year. Over R1-million of prizes will be open to the public to try and win. Star prize is a Honda CR-V valued at R351 000, which can be won only by visitors to the show. The draw will take place on 13 September.
The show offers plenty of exciting interactive demonstrations and activities, both indoors and outdoors. There will be workshops from professional travel photographers, writers and adventurers; a range of prizes to be won in the Spin and Win area; plus, indoor climbing wall in the Obikwa Adventure Area.
