Henry Fa'afili scores his UK visa
Samoan rugby player, Henry Fa'afili has obtained a UK visa allowing him to join club side, Leeds Carnegie.
The Samoan winger was signed in June of this year, but has been waiting for his visa application to be processed by UK immigration.
Leeds Carnegie has contacted the player and have told him the good news. Fa’afili can now legally enter the UK when he arrives from his home country.
The player has been keeping his fitness levels up as he awaited confirmation about his UK work permit.
Fa'afili was one of four Leeds players who have been stranded in their home countries while UK immigration officials processed their visa applications. Delays in that process prevented their permanent move to the UK.
Juan Gomez had his UK visa approved on the eve of the 2009/10 season, but two other new players Fosi Pala'amo and Mike MacDonald are still waiting.
