Snoop Dogg may just need that UK work visa

The infamous Dogfather, Snoop Dogg, could be heading to headline this years Glastonbury festival, it has been revealed.

Snoop Dogg, real name Calvin Broadus, was only granted a UK visa earlier this month after a scuffle in a Heathrow VIP lounge, the drama led to him and his entourage being arrested and then swiftly shipped back to the US on the first available flight.

The idea is the brainchild of the daughter of the organiser, Emily Eavis, She appears to be the current driving force behind most of the bookings for Glastonbury as the owner nears his twilight years and loses his connection with the ‘yoof’ of the UK.

Miss Eavis was the driving force behind last year’s booking of Jay-Z, which at the time was panned by many including the retiring Noel Gallagher. That as it transpired was a success.

It is still to be confirmed from Snoop’s end, however Michael Eavis expressed his willingness to book the star.

"She's a bright girl and she is very keen on Snoop Dogg doing the show, so we want him.”

Now the star has his UK visa there is nothing to stop him, however it remains to be seen what the reaction will be of fans or if he will say bow wow or woof off to organisers’ requests.
