Survey reveals that britons are fed up with the weather.
According
to a new poll, a third of Britons want to move abroad as they grow
increasingly dissatisfied with their lives in the UK.
According to the poll, one
in three people living in the UK says they plan to move abroad in the
coming ten years.
The most popular reason for wanting to move to Australia, Canada, South
Africa and elsewhere was escape the poor weather in the UK, with 86 per
cent attributing their decision to emigrate on the weather.
In addition, 61 per cent of people said they are looking to start a new
life abroad because they do not like the way the UK is run. Some 18 per
cent of people blamed the high cost of living in the UK, while 16 per
cent blamed the increase in immigration.
Although it seems extremely unlikely that a third of the country’s
population will emigrate in the next decade, 61 per cent said they were
already planning a trip around the world. They were looking into
obtaining Australian visas and visas for areas like the US and South
Africa.
