UK immigration Says "No UK visa, no entry" to Benny Hinn
October 07 2009 by Liam Clifford
UK immigration have no love for televangelist, as he is refused entry at two seperate airports for not having the correct UK visa.
Benny Hinn, the televangelist known for his large stadium sermons, was due to appear in London last weekend at the "Fire Conference and Miracle Service.” However, as he had not pre-arranged his UK visa he was disallowed entry to the country and stopped from leaving his private jet at no less than two different UK airports.
Followers of Benny Hinn, mostly Pentecostal Christians, had travelled from all over the world and had booked long weekend stays in the country’s capital. The event, due to be held at the Excel exhibition centre in East London, was due to begin on Thursday.
All were left disappointed as UK immigration officials turned him and his private jet away; it seems Benny Hinn’s staff had not arranged for a letter of sponsorship supporting his entry.
The Pentecostal Christians that had made the pilgrimage to London, and remembered to pre-arrange their UK visas, were not however left disappointed. A live satellite link was set up and his presence transmitted in from the skies above.
