UK immigration strike to affect airports

UK immigration officials have voted to walkout in dispute over working conditions.

The move comes after talks between the Public and Commercial Services union (PCS) and the UK Border Agency failed to reach agreement.

The one day strike is set to take place on Wednesday 5, August.

A final decision about whether to go ahead with strike will take place next Tuesday.

UK travellers coming back to the country from holidays or business face delays at airports and ports.
