Eligibility requirements

In Algeria, immigration through any of the available routes places certain requirements on the candidate. Applicants must be able to fulfil the following criteria.

Candidates must be able to provide a current Passport from their country of residence with a minimum period of validity of 6 months.

In addition to a valid passport, candidates will also need to provide:

Two signed and completed application forms.
Two passport sized photographs in colour.
Evidence of economic/Employment ties to the United Kingdom. This requirement can be satisfied through the provision on a letter of employment from the UK employer or similar evidence of activity in Britain.

Algerian Tourist Visa

Applying for an Algerian travel permit, often referred to as a tourist or visit visa, is intended for those wishing to visit the country purely for the purposes of tourism. An Algerian visa application of this kind will also require one of the following:

A certificate of accommodation or Certificat d'hebergement legalisée. This must be certified by the relevant Algerian authorities.
A hotel booking confirmation.
An invitation from a travel agency in Algeria.
In cases where applicants are applying to visit southern Algeria it will also be necessary to provide an itinerary of the proposed excursion including the destinations envisaged during the visit as well as approximate dates.

Algerian Transit Visa
